Jaryn + Scott
Winter magic in Snohomish, Washington at Thomas Family Farm
I’d been looking forward to this wedding for MANY months since first meeting Jaryn and Scott for their engagement session on Rose Ranch. You can check that one out right here! We honestly had the most amazing time together wandering one of my favorite spots on the ranch and getting to know each other. Immediately I felt connected to them and knew they were not only going to be amazing clients, but that they’re simply wonderful human beings. When Jaryn told me the wedding was at Thomas Family Farm in Snohomish, I was so excited because I’d never shot there before and one thing I love is experiencing new venues!
Their wedding day was not only perfect, but a total blast.
I can’t think of a better way to kick off the new year with a January wedding and while I knew this one would be fabulous, I didn’t know it would be freaking amazing. Their love radiated through every single detail of the day and you could just feel it, everywhere. I fell in love with their family and friends and can’t stop reminiscing about how much fun the whole day was, especially the reception! I found myself singing and dancing all night long… their DJ was absolutely fantastic.
Jaryn and Scott met in Stanwood, WA at a bonfire in February 2012. They had mutual friends who invited both of them to the get together. Jaryn at that point had heard about Scott but was not aware she would be meeting him. By the end of that night, she smiles back fondly because she knew he would someday be her husband. Jaryn is an orthodontic clinician in Seattle and Scott is a firefighter on Camano Island! These two love to adventure, spend time outdoors, and simply be in the presence of one another.
When chatting with Jaryn about advice she has for brides planning their own wedding, she said this:
I love her advice and how honest it is because it’s SO true! A huge thank you to everyone who made this day so special and to Jaryn and Scott for trusting in me to be there to document it all. I am filled with gratitude as I kick off another wedding season and it’s so surreal to me, even now, that this is what I get to call my work. I love my clients and so grateful my path crossed with Jaryn and Scott because I now have so much more than another “client”, I have two kick-ass friends!
Without further ado, here’s a not so short peek into their beautiful wedding day in Snohomish, Washington at Thomas Family Farm!
