Krystal + Steve | Engaged

My first year moving to Southwest Washington was a little tough and majority of my shoots and weddings were still being scheduled over on the east side of the mountains where I'm from (about a 5 hour drive!)  Well... that is wonderful and I do love taking pictures over there in the desert but it's been absolutely incredible this year getting to work with so many LOCAL couples, including these two!

Krystal and Steve are getting married this upcoming winter and I cannot wait to be there to capture it all, they are SO DANG fun and sweet!  I seriously had a blast with them on their session and had been scheming a session amongst the Foxgloves on our ranch.  I found out later that these are EXTREMELY poisonous (if ingested) but no worries, we weren't eating the flowers.  Haha.  I was Googling the plants to make sure I had the correct name when all I saw was "CAUTION"!  They sure make for a beautiful backdrop, however!

I love my couples.

The fact that I still can't wrap my head around calling this "work" makes me so happy as a creative entrepreneur.  My job has given me access to working with people all over the world and it never gets old.  I love all the different love stories, situations and memories we make together.  It's truly one of the most exciting journeys ever.  Krystal and Steve are so in love and I simply loved how easy-going they both are and their contagious laughter in front of my camera.  I cannot wait for December and their wedding is at a venue called Willapa Hills Farm I've had my eyes on for awhile but haven't yet had a chance to shoot at yet!

Anyway, I just adore these two, their love and Steve's daughter that tagged along for the shoot!  She was my "assistant" and was so dang sweet!  I threw in a couple of her for this post and took many more but I always love these sweet additions to photo sessions!

I hope you love these images as much as I loved capturing them!
