Natalie + Jake Part II | Engaged

great smoky mountains engagement session

If you’re going to get on an airplane across the country for pictures, you may as well make the most of your time and travel to the most breathtaking national parks with the most amazing couple ever.

And yes β€” this is part II of the three part series of my trip to Nashville last fall to capture these two lovelies!

What a weekend! From Nashville, the trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was a good 3 hour drive and worth every second because wow β€” just wow. It was not only massive, but the colors and weather could not have been better. Okay, we diiiiiid run into a bit of a pickle for our original plan of taking portraits upon arrival at the VERY TOP of the mountain because we were welcomed with sideways rain followed by snow! It was quite the adventure and at one point I we were in two places at once along the Tennessee and North Carolina border!

For their engagement session, we drove through the 11 mile Cades Cove Loop.

Talk about an experience to see not only a ton of wildlife, but the beautiful smoky mountains in all their glory. I will truly never forget it and hope to someday come back here with my family!

For more details about my trip to visit Natalie and Jake, be sure to check out those two post mentioned above but for now β€” sit back and scroll on through these beautiful photos from our adventures through the mountains!
