This is a retreat and workshop to refresh, inspire and help you grow as business owners and as women.  I often find that running a business can be isolating and all consuming.  It is my hope and goal with this retreat to give each attendee an experience they will never forget.  I genuinely want this to be life changing.  We will learn watercolor, the art of yoga and relaxation, essential oils, photography (duh!), eat amazing food, swim in the pool, talk about life, discuss business, drink wine and margaritas, take amazing photographs with styled shoots and live shoots as well as grow lasting friendships.  

What to expect from this experience

Over the four days and three nights, we will spend our time in the heart of Palm Desert, California.  The style of this retreat is meant to be laid back but full of opportunity for open and honest conversations about the realities of running a business and being a woman.  I've opted for a third night to allow two full days of instruction so that you are able to completely immerse yourself in the experience.  Taking place in our vacation home (and possibly a second house rental nearby), we will have several "talks", small photo walks, and all meals together, endless amount of time for open discussion and two live styled shoots around the pool and in the desert.


During my time as a photographer, I quickly realized that I had something to share with the world, and that is my heart and knowledge.  I truly believe in the power of sharing and opening ourselves up to be vulnerable in order to grow.  I wanted to create a space that was safe to do just that as well as learn from one another along the way.  The Dream Chasers Facebook Community has quickly become something special and while online interaction is so powerful, I want to offer this special experience to bring us together in person.

Option 1 - Share a room/bed with another woman
Option 2 - Cot/air mattress option bunking with other attendees in living room (still super cozy!)
Option 3 - if you are unable or unwilling to share your space, you will have to make your own accommodations.

I know that many of you already know a lot about me, but I want to take a moment to re-introduce myself and simply tell you how thrilled I am that you are here and interested in attending this incredible women's retreat! When I first picked up a camera I had no idea what would happen or just how much it would change my life. For so long I'd felt like nothing really made sense in my life. I got up every day and did the same job. I was comfortable, but I was really unhappy. I didn't know how unhappy I was until I found my true calling and passions in life as a creative entrepreneur. I graduated high school, I went to college and got a degree, I found myself in a good career and I married the man of my dreams. Yet something was still missing. Once I left the "safe" route behind, I found a reason to want to get out of bed every day. I found a spark in my soul that ultimately pushed me to go places I never thought possible. I realized that I was meant to do this all along, it just took me awhile to get there.  I left my job to chase a dream of working for myself.

I don't have all the answers, but I can tell you that I have heart. I have passion and I have learned through failures and triumphs just what it takes to build a successful business from scratch. I can tell you that it goes much deeper than simply taking good pictures. I hope this retreat serves as much more than an educational space but opens up the door to making some real and authentic connections with fellow Dream Chasers.  While this is most certainly photography centered, we will also be covering topics like self-care, building our emotional well being and centered for women.  

One of my nearest and dearest friends in this world will be teaching you yoga every day if you choose to participate.  However, it will be much more than that.  She is going to focus on parts of our bodies that directly relate to the stresses on our bodies as photographers.  She is going to equip you with techniques to do at home to live a more balanced and peaceful life through the art of yoga and meditation.  Essential oils is a huge part of her journey.  There won't be any product pushing but she is there to answer any questions you may have about the oils and how they have changed her (and my!) life.  She will also incorporate oils into all the yoga sessions during the retreat if you are interested (you will have the option to opt in or out of that part of the experience).  Life is so busy and also stressful.  It is our goal with this retreat that you leave feeling equipped to not only grow your business, but find more peace and balance in your life.

I'm holding nothing back from you. By attending this retreat I want to tell/show you absolutely everything I know. There are no secrets and there are no "off topic" limitations when you come to our California home. This is your opportunity to learn and grow with not only me, but fellow photographers in the industry! We all have something to learn from each other and I hope this retreat is life changing for you and your business.


The price for the retreat is $1575 or $1275 with accommodation.  $675 due up front to reserve your spot - check out by clicking button below.
